ConVoJ GmbH was founded on may 23rd 2002
Main activities: Developing strategies and technical concepts or managing complex projects for the Electricity and Telecommunication sector, including the lead of delicate negotiations. relevant experience: After 1978 within the Sales department "Data and Telecontrol" of the Brown&Boveri Company (later ABB), J.-J. Vouga was responsible for the implementation of major SCADA projects in Switzerland and so able to build profound relationships to the electricity industry. In 1983 he moved to the Electricity of Laufenburg (EGL), where, as head of IT and Telecommunication, he leads successfully various projects, particularly for Meter acquisition & transmission or the implementation of modern energy management information system. As telecom responsible he was in 1996 delegated by his company from the beginning of the liberalization of the telecommunication in Switzerland in the project "Telecom UEW" where he contributes actively to obtain a new GSM license. This success was a major contribution to establish the second telecom operator in Switzerland. As Deputy Chief Operating Officer Mobile, he was responsible for the amazing rapid development and deployment of the GSM network. In this role he led the Interconnection negotiation with the incumbent operator and was the liaison person with the authorities. Subsequently, he served as Head of business development for the strategy to obtaining a UMTS license. After the merger with Sunrise, he forwarded the UMTS project . With his company ConVoJ he runs several projects in the field of electricity and telecommunications, in particular the evaluation and planning for the development of a nation wide PWLAN network. More recently he was actively involved in developing strategies to take profit and implementing processes to match with the changes due to the liberalization of the electricity market.
